Friendly staff with big smiles! The strawberry shortcake was pleasantly lightly sweet, which I really appreciated. The latte was great as well.

The only reason I’m giving the atmosphere 4/5 is that the patio, although clean and nicely shaded, felt a little bland. Adding some plants, flowers, or string lights would make it feel much cozier and more inviting.

Will definitely be back anyway! :)

Got a cake for my dad's birthday. I was looking for something chocolate and not too sweet. They recommended the perfect cake - chocolate mousse cake. It was indeed not too sweet, fluffy and great chocolate flavour. I can't wait to try all their other cakes!

Update: Tried their strawberry shortcake and it was also amazing. Great quality (can taste that they use real whipping cream), moist, not too sweet. Dessert Lady is now our go to cake place ❤️

I've ordered ahead on the phone and online - they ask if you want any writing on the cake. Both times pickup was efficient, friendly and fast.

Got this v pretty Ube coconut cake for him this year. I’m not usually a fan of ube, but this cake was so good. They didnt hold back on the ube, and it paired perfectly with the coconut. You wont know what I mean unless you try it.

I feel so fortunate to have such a beautiful and welcoming dessert spot so close to home! The folks working there are always always so kind and helpful!!! And the cake is soooo delicious, I love that they use swiss meringue buttercream for some of the cakes so it isn’t as aggressively sweet.

I go to buy the single cake slices to enjoy at home, and so far I have had the chocolate with vanilla frosting, red velvet, chocolate mousse, and strawberry shortcake. All of them are fantastic! The classic chocolate cake though I think is my top top favourite.

My ONLY complaint is the strawberry shortcake I got was a little sad looking with browning strawberries on the exterior, and the strawberries inside were on their way out too ahaha. But it wasn’t so bad I wasn’t able to eat the cake, just wish it was a little fresher. Strawberries are tricky to work with as they go bad so fast! This is a small complaint though.

Everything else has been amazing and I will continue to frequent this wonderful place. I wish they had cupcakes for sale too in the case! I guess they aren’t big sellers?

This was my first time trying them, and I ordered a strawberry shortcake for a colleague’s birthday. Everyone loved it—it was delicious and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet.

A big thank you to the chef/owner as well. I didn’t realize there was a specific pickup time and arrived much earlier than scheduled, but she kindly prepared my order quickly. Excellent service and a wonderful experience overall.

Really tasty cake, we got the strawberry shortcake and tiramisu. Also the London fog was amazing. The staff are all very nice and even ran after us with a pair of sunglasses were forgot. Definitely 5 star service!
