When you order products from Dessert Lady, you can be assured we will ship your merchandise with the utmost care.
We do not ship to international destinations or to any P.O. boxes. Be sure to include the appropriate suite, apartment number, recipient’s full name, phone number (with area code) and full address to ensure proper delivery.
Orders of our cakes and products must be placed at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance when shopping on-line. If you require a cake sooner you can try calling us to see if we can accommodate your needs. The earlier you book in advance the better your chance are in ordering the product you desire.
For on-line orders of Cookies, Miniature Cookies, Macaroons and Chocolate Truffles, we ship your orders anywhere in Canada via Canada Post or UPS. A two (2) day delivery will be used in order to ensure the freshness of the products. We are not responsible for any delays or damages to the product caused by Canada Post/ UPS due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, or inaccurate shipping information. We do not offer refunds for any of the above reasons for delays or damages.
For on-line orders of our signature Cakes, Pies, Tarts, or Cupcakes that require our Dessert Lady Delivery service, orders for Saturday or Monday must be received by Wednesday of that week in order to ensure the recipient will receive it on time.
For any custom design Cakes/Cupcakes, Photo Cakes/Photo Cupcakes/ Photo Sugar Cookies a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours advance notice is required (3 days). Time is required to test the image on our printers and for an approval process should it be required. All images must be sent as a high resolution jpg. Please note: We cannot guarantee the look, color and/or quality of the image you provide (photo or graphic) once it is printed on edible paper. It is important to send us a clear, high resolution image. Your image will be printed exactly as is, however slight enhancements may be made to assist in the image quality. We cannot guarantee a desired end result of the product. Please book in advance to ensure availability and that we can accommodate your order. Images are subject to approval. A minimum of 6 cupcakes is required for photo cupcakes. Orders on-line must be paid in full. No refunds are permitted.
Please note that the Dessert Lady reserves the right to cancel any orders caused by any information errors or product availability.

Return Policy/ Cancellation Policy
For any orders using Canada Post, UPS, or Dessert Lady Delivery Service (excluding the “Wedding” and “WOW” products), we do not guarantee or refund any products or packages damaged or delayed in delivery due to the weather, traffic condition, the recipient not being home, or at the shipping address for the first delivery attempt or any other delivery attempt thereafter.
Cancellations for any product(s) are only possible within 48 hours from the original order.
There is NO refund on any product(s) that has already been paid for even if cancelled within the 48 hour period. In this case we would issue a Dessert Lady credit note in the full amount paid which can only be applied to your next purchase at the Dessert Lady. This credit note is good for one (1) year from the date issued.
If you would like to cancel an order you must contact us directly at 416-924-3223 within 48 hours of the original date required.
Please note that the cancellation policy above excludes “WOW” or Wedding” product(s). Cancellation for products under the “WOW” and “Wedding” category is permitted at any time, however there is NO refund on the initial 50% deposit which is required upon the date of purchase.
Postponing orders for any product (including product in the Wedding or WOW category) are not permitted.

Placing an Order in Person
We welcome anyone who would like to place an order in person. It is recommended to place your order 48 hrs in advance. Therefore, order can be placed on Thursday for Saturday pickup or delivery. For Monday pick up or delivery, order must be placed on Friday.
Any last minute orders may be possible, we recommend you to consult with anyone of our staff members on site. We would be very happy to assist you in order to accommodate your needs. A 50% deposit is required for all orders, which is non-refundable.

We accept orders via the telephone. It is recommended to place your order 48 hrs in advance.
Any last minute order may be possible, we recommend you to contact to our shop directly at 416-924-3223. For orders that are placed via telephone, you will be required to provide us with your credit card number (Visa / MasterCard) in order for us to process the order.
Using our online shopping, you can order and pay online, then pick up your order at the shop or have it delivered.
For cakes or baked good items (of any size) orders must be placed at least 72 hours in advance. The shop is closed on Sundays. To ensure delivery for orders on Saturday or Monday we require you to book your order by Wednesday before 7pm (the latest).
We accept Cash, Debit Card, Interact Online, Pay Pal and Credit Card (Visa/ MasterCard) only.
A confirmation email of your order will be made if you purchase online, providing we receive reliable and verifiable documentation.
