Mandy obtained her culinary training in New York City at the renowned French Culinary Institute and further completed her chocolate and sugar work training at the International School of Confectionary Arts in Maryland. She performed her pastry magic as a chef at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Florida, along with many well-known places in Toronto such as the Superior Restaurant and Summerhill Market. Mandy's dream has finally come true with tremendous support from her customers, friends, family, and former employers. She opened the Dessert Lady on April 16, 2005. Mandy puts a lot of thought and creativity into her quaint pastry shop in Yorkville. She is determined to make and give the best to her customers who know how to pamper themselves.
